Download firmware images or flash a prop directly from the browser over a USB serial adapter. Props in the field update themselves over WiFi — this page is for bench work and first-time flashing.
The desk controller (M5Stack CoreS3). Download an image and flash it from the controller's Settings → Firmware update over WiFi, or over USB — it's a separate release track from the props. Two builds from 1.1.0: controller.bin for the CoreS3 SE with the DMX Base (XLR DMX-in), controller-artnet.bin for the CoreS3 Lite that takes Art-Net through the node below and drives DMX out. Flash the one that matches the hardware — the other loses DMX.
The M5Stack Unit PoESP32 that feeds Art-Net to the Lite
controller. First flash is over the unit's internal J2
header with a USB serial adapter (esptool, or the repo's
pio run -d node -t upload); after that, upload
node.bin from the controller's Settings → Node
firmware and it travels over the Grove link. Its own release track.
